TurningPoint is a comprehensive audience participation platform, not only provides live polling and interactive homework capabilities but also lets you conduct unlimited surveys for insights into the minds of your students. Even better, a simple interface – along with the ability to respond using a cell phone, tablet or computer – means that everyone can get started right away. TurningPoint is being piloted this fall at BYU.

Pluralsight is a service that offers web-based training in software development, IT, Data Management, and Cyber Security, etc, which you can use with your students. Pluralsight is currently being piloted at BYU.

PowerNotes is designed to facilitate academic research projects and allows you and your students to gather, organize, and keep track of your research. If your students work on a research project, this is the session for you.

Hypothes.is is an open-source online tool that allows teachers and students to "write in the margins" and comment and discuss online information.

GoReact is an interactive online platform for feedback, grading, and critiquing of video assignments.

iClicker Cloud is a cloud-based classroom response system that allows you to poll your students and engage them with your course content and with each other.

Can we show images or play video clips during remote class sessions without violating copyright law? What about distributing copyrighted articles or other reading materials to students? This session answers these questions and provides practical solutions and strategies for avoiding common copyright pitfalls encountered by instructors in remote educational settings.

One of the challenges of teaching remotely is access to course materials, be they a textbook, lab manual, or lecture slides. Two potential solutions are Open Educational Resources (OER) and materials electronically available through the Harold B. Lee Library.

How can we provide students with the right kind of support to succeed in online learning? This session will show some simple but effective ways to help students stay engaged in the course, develop more self-direction, create community, and learn how to learn more effectively.
